  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Grants: Career Development Program

    The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is pleased to announce the opening of their Career Development Program for fellows and independent investigators who are performing blood cancer research. They encourage applicants who are doing either basic, translational/preclinical, or clinical research to apply. Award amounts vary. Award Categories Scholar in Clinical Research Early/mid career independent investigators (assistant professor/associate professor) performing clinical research. *New in 2015: For eligibility, time since independent appointment has been increased from 8 years to 10 years. Scholar Early/mid career independent investigators (assistant professor/associate professor) performing basic or translational/preclinical research. In some cases, clinically-related research that is wet lab-based is acceptable. Special Fellow Later stage postdoctoral fellows performing basic or translational/preclinical research. In some cases, clinically-related research that is wet lab-based is acceptable. Fellow Early stage postdoctoral fellows performing basic or translational/preclinical research. In some cases, clinically-related research that is wet lab-based is acceptable. **The LLS has changed the application process to include an initial eligibility phase, which is used to determine eligibility based on programmatic criteria, without scientific consideration.
